How to get leads for network marketing

If you’re in a network marketing business, the first people you tend to contact are your friends, family, and everyone you can remember being in contact with. A memory jogger can help you to think of people you know. By contacting everyone you have a pre-existing relationship with first, you can start getting decent results in your network marketing business.

Once you have contacted all of your warm contacts, you’re going to want to start generating leads to continue to build your customer base, and grow your team. Without a system for getting new leads on a regular basis, your network marketing business could stall.

Let’s look at some of the best ways you can get leads:

  • Hanging out where your customers hang out
    If you’re selling a weight loss product, one of the best places to meet potential customers are classes at gyms. Join your local gym, and get involved in the classes. Or, start attending  a local fitness group. If there isn’t one in your area it isn’t hard to start your own.
  • Get active on social media
    One of my best sources of new customers is social media. Every day or two I will share some kind of positive post, such as a motivational picture or video, a before and after photo of someone who has had success on the Challenge, or welcoming a new customer or team member to the Challenge. In each post I ask people to take action, such as inbox me for further information.
  • Write targeted blog posts
    Another great source of new customers is blog posts. Use the Google Keyword Planner to find keywords that prospective customers are searching for, then write targeted blog posts aimed at those keywords. It is well worth writing detailed blog posts on each topic, as Google tends to rank detailed informative posts higher in the search results. Write a new blog post every few days, and start attracting targeted traffic.
  • Look after your existing customers
    Be in regular contact with your existing customers, provide a great service, and add value by sharing useful tips with them, and keeping track of their progress. By keeping your customers happy, they will be more likely to refer you.

    Hi James, Thanks for sharing this interesting post on generating leads. In addition to writing targeted blog posts. Giving away a free ebook or some other relevant gift, for which the reader needs to subscribe, is another proven method for generating leads. There are some really good, non obtrusive tools for doing this that also include A/B testing and other measuring data.
