Blogging is an excellent way to get the word out about your company, products and services, and also attract potential customers by providing related information that they want to know!
Blog posts that are keyword optimized can appear high in the search results, as long as you focus on providing great value to your readers – and don’t simply stuff the article with keywords just to attract the search engines!
Provide great value by answering customers questions, think what they might be searching for BEFORE thinking about buying your product or service. There will be more of these people than those who already know about your product or service, and chances are they will also be less price sensitive.
By targeting customers in the thought process leading up to needing your product or service, you can get them to opt-in to your mailing list, by offering them something valuable in exchange for their name, telephone number, and email address.
You can use an auto-responder to automate much of the follow up process, but for maximum results it’s always a nice touch to give each new subscriber a personal welcome call to find out how you can best serve their needs.
