In search engine optimisation there are two camps: white hat and black hat. Mostly I look at white hat methods because they will not get you slapped by the big search companies. Google has a reputation lately for penalising websites that have used artificial means to improve their search engine ranking. That’s why I recommend using social marketing techniques so much such as bookmarking sites (Digg, Delicious, Reddit etc) etc.
However it is still possible to pick up some very good tips from the “black hat” SEO crowd. I’ve found these four interesting tips today whilst browing the Black Hat SEO Forum:
