Google crack down on scam sites

“Use Google to Make 1000s of Dollars!” or “Easy Cash with Google: You Could be Making up to $978 a Day Working from Home!” You may have seen offers like these using Google’s name or logo that sounded too good to be true.

Unfortunately, nearly all of them are, and, despite hundreds of consumer complaints and our own efforts to keep these sites from tricking people, some scams continue. To fight back, Google are working to stop various fraudulent “Google Money” schemes, and this week filed suit against Pacific WebWorks and several unnamed defendants.

Misleading ads try to take advantage of consumers who are desperate to make money, and as the recession has got worse for many, the problem has grown. Google estimate that thousands of people have been scammed into sending payment information and being charged hidden fees by questionable operations such as the following:

The best way to find a sure-fire way of making money online is to ask someone who is already doing it. Not someone who shows you fake screen shots of their supposed earnings but someone with a good reputation online.

There are legitimate ways to make money with Google. Personally I’m making money with Google every single day and I manage ad campaigns on behalf of respected companies who are making money from Google too.

Also it is possible to earn a significant income from Google through natural search rankings. The key to doing this is keyword research and creating a site that is compelling for users to take the action you desire.

An example of a site I’ve recently put together is for an emergency windscreen repair company in Nottingham.  This website targets people at the precise moment that they are looking for a new car windscreen and sends enquiries immediately through to an engineers mobile phone who calls them back. This fast service is getting rave reviews from customers who are then likely to recommend the clients website and hopefully link to it which will naturally improve his search engine ranking.

I’m a strong believer in investing in education but please be very careful where you choose to invest your money and always make sure there is a money back guarantee if you aren’t completely satisfied.
